Countdown to Le Mans Start of Race 2008

Well 2008 race has been and gone and actually it was one of the best and closest races for a very long time - The pitch numbering method of Maison Blanche work relativly well - we arrived on Monday to find that we were located next to all our friends and so the week started with a good omen

We setup camp and began to enjoy - Steve as always helpfull in sorting water and a bowser to fill as we were not allowed to put anything across the road - security abounds again this year - no cars on the road - no scaffolding above caravan height - but we worked around this restrictions and a good time was had by all - Pimms O'clock for the girls - Nancy's birthday on Monday and mine on Tuesday - Nicks 24th trip to Lemans - lots to do and lots of fun

Our Fridge in our brand new caravan failed and our generator gave up the ghost on Tuesday but as always someone came to the rescue and Gordy from the Lawnmower racing crew lent us his drinks fridge and generator - top man

As always fellow websites that have a close link to us are the British Lawn Mower Crew the Beermountain crew and the Drinking for Holland group with their Friday night party - Thanks guys - specially mentioning Charles, Nancy,Toad,Disco,Baldric,Nick,Brenda,Pope,Graham & Steve the Hat and this year for those who did not make it George, Kev & Kelly

Final note is that I have not rejoined the ACO - they have not been good to any of us over the last three years so to the Agencies we go
